Welcome to the Board of Deacons.
The current Board of Deacons includes:
Kim Bersani (currently on-leave), Russell Clements, Ellie Cleveland, Mark Gifford, Jonathan Hill and Jonna Sundburg
Representative from Stewards of Worship and Education – Kate Wylie
The Board works in conjunction with Dr. Reverend Gifford.
The Board of Deacons is dedicated to furthering the spiritual aspects of the congregation. We are very active in preparing for and organizing the Church services. We hope to become more active in orienting new members.

CONFIRMATION SUNDAY – May 22, 2011
The entire church was pleased to be present for the confirmation of the church’s newest members, Erin McMillen and Marie MacDonald.
Their presence in Sunday Service was moving and inspiring. They did a great job!
We are honored and pleased to have these dedicated and sincere young women as new members of the church.
The Deacons were pleased to give the confirmands a small token in the form of bracelets picked out and purchased by Kim Bersani.
We received lovely thank you notes from both confirmands.

THE DEACONS’ FUND
The Board of Deacons maintains a Deacons fund for those in need.
If you need assistance with some type of financial help, please contact a member of the Board of Deacons.
The purpose of the fund is to provide a small bit of relief if:
1) You need help paying some type of monthly (or one time) bill.
2) Someone you know is truly in need of financial assistance.
3) Perhaps you are planning on taking a class to help in your daily life
4) For some other important reason that we have not mentioned here.
